Re: Calendar for Summer Fireworks Sales 2008
The calendar has been modified to provide more time for stand construction.
Fourth of July Season
Permit Sales May 5, 2008, 8:30am May 14, 2008, 12:00 p.m. (noon)
(The Accounting Office is closed for lunch each day from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.)
Public Drawing May 14, 2008, 1:00 pm
Stand Construction May 17, 2008 May 30, 2008
Retail Sales May 31, 2008 July 6, 2008
Stand Removal July 7, 2008 July 21, 2008
Rates:
Stand Owners
Permit Fee: $125, Sani-cans $70 Dumpsters $85 North End Improvement( First Year Only) $100 Refundable Clean Up Deposit: $100 Insurance: $415. All must paid before the drawing. (The $125 may return to the old $250 rate but the Fireworks Committee has decided to the keep the lower rate in place for one more year.)
Wholesalers
Permit Fee: $500 + $250 per container (limit 2 containers) Refundable Clean Up Deposit $500 North End Improvement Fee paid annually $100. Wholesalers have the same time constraints as stand owners. Containers must be removed by July 21st.
